The Lahore Resolution
The Lahore Resolution, also known as the Pakistan Resolution, was passed on March 23, 1940, by the All India Muslim League. This resolution marked the first formal demand for a separate homeland for Muslims in the region that is now Pakistan. The resolution was passed in Lahore, hence the name “Lahore Resolution”.
